1. Upload the 3 attached graphics into your web library.
2. Create a new web page. Name it “8000credit”.
3. In the Edit Page mode, from the drop down menu chose “Photo / Image – Image From My Library”. Find “8000credit.png” then “Select this Image” then “Add”.
4. Repeat below the 8000credit.png and add the “6500credit.png” image.
5. Determine where you want to put a link to this page ie on your home page or in your side bar.
6. Go to Edit Page mode.
7. Once in the Edit Page mode, from the drop down menu chose “Photo / Image – Image From My Library”. Find “1sttime.png” then “Select this Image”.
8. Select radio button “Link this image to: One Of Your Pages – 8000credit
9. Click Add.
10. You’re done.

Yes, I must. I opened an account a year and a half ago, barely tried it, stopped and am now about to jump in again. Patty sent me this NY Times article and it really makes sense. The bottom line, following and listening to the right people can be very productive.

Monday 1/4/10 is the next rebar camp and we highly recommend it. Patty attended the live event last spring in Boston and came home with more ideas than we could handle. Good speakers on all kinds of topics, many to do with tech stuff and networking. And it’s free. Yes, free. And you can attend in your jammies.

… that’ll make your life fuller, easier and much more productive.

1. Open a Google account.
2. Read, subscribe to and comment on blogs.
3. Learn how to text message.
4. Teach a colleague how to do something I know how to do and he/she doesn’t (good karma!).
5. Sign up and learn to use Flickr
6. Sign up and learn to use Evernote.
7. Back up my computer.
8. Learn to use my website.
9. Use my bank’s “auto bill pay”.
10. Drop in to Facebook at least once a week.
11. Hide a new spare key for your car!

Just in the last month I’ve set up my Google Reader . It watches certain blogs for me and let’s me know (all in one place) when there’s a new post. Here’re the blogs I’ve started following:

After you start reading blogs, make comments on the post. Add insight. Disagree. Whatever you do, it’ll help you meet people AND get you more Google juice!

1. Buy as much wrapping paper as you need. It’s only paper. Use the tissue, too.
2. Use only paper and plastic goods for your parties. (Especially the plastic table cloths and cups.) Don’t worry about the landfill. It’s the holidays!
3. Send cards to EVERYONE. Have them printed, labeled and bulk mailed. They’ll be well received, just like the ones you get from the bank and the dry cleaner!
4. Drive everywhere and often. Might as well drink, too. Then you’re multitasking.
5. Buy buy buy. It’s good for the economy. And more “things” make us happy.
6. Eat eat eat. Like it’s your last meal! It could be!
7. Drink drink drink. It’ll enhance the entire holiday experience. Guaranteed!
8. Review your grudges and resentments. Sure as hell you’ll run into “him” or “her”. Might as well be prepared. Also see #7.
9. Nap early and often. No exercise necessary. Napping IS exercise in some cultures.
10. Remember: gravy covers a lot of sins. And cigarettes are good for you.
